The DA-85 motor mount system for the Edge and Ultimate has arrived. By request, we have produced these for our aircraft line.

These are made of light ply and stacked to achieve the proper distance. Made of 14 individual pieces to adjust standoff distance by a 1/16 of an inch as needed. A relief is built in as well for the throttle linkage.

The base mount only weighs 3.3 oz if all the pieces are used for a total of 2-1/4” of standoff distance or adjusted as far down as needed. The Edge only needs 1-7/8” and the Ultimate even less. Also provided are the ¼-20 bolts, flat washers, and lock nuts for mounting in the Ultimate or Edge 540. Not only does it support the base of the motor as DA recommends, it's easy to install and it looks good as well.
